If you’ve ever felt like you were going a little bit crazy, have you ever considered that you might just be emotionally overwhelmed?
Being an empath is pretty neat. We’re highly-intuitive and we have the gift of high-sensitivity.
We have the ability to sense and feel the emotions of others very well. We’re just that tuned in.
But this can also be challenging for us because being this tuned in can be draining and we can feel emotionally overwhelmed.
I mean, have you ever had an interaction with someone who was having a rough day? How did you feel afterwards? Irritated, grumpy, or maybe upset too? And then soon enough, the rest of your day feels like it’s off kilter.
It’s rough being caught in the riptide of complex emotions from both others and ourselves.
But what is emotional overwhelm anyway? It is a state that we enter when the weight and intensity of the emotions we’re feeling feel like too much for us to handle or process.
So what do you think, have you ever felt emotionally overwhelmed before?
Join Naomi for this brand new podcast episode, where she shares the five telltale signs of emotional overwhelm in empaths.
Can’t wait to see you on the inside!
